How to Play

    One of the puzzles that were published today was my 100th puzzle. I hope it was this one. My favorite of the day. Now, if only I had some.

    I copied and pasted the spelling from google, but it wouldn't take it with the dots above one of the letters. But when I eliminated them, it was fine.

    Probably would never have got this without the answer being posted. It requires the specific American pronunciation of the vowel o (ah) to solve. The rest of the English speaking world pronounces o's differently.

    [9] I'm American but have lived in Ireland and the UK, and the pronunciation (on that particular word) isn't that different.
