Oh, I wish people would!
[1] I second that!
wow, that was a challenging one! nicely clued.
You are a freaking genius!! You solved this puzzle.
You solved this puzzle in 9 minutes and 58 seconds and were the 70th Tanga member to solve it.
So it's not about a mountain city?
84th - whew. I didn't think I was going to get it.
I agree with the sentiment, but the clues seemed like a weird stretch for me.
not clicking on this one at all
This took me more than a minute - and I'm shocked I still got 2nd. Also, without looking at the "by-line" I knew who the maker was by the first clue. Nice one!
Not a fan of this one. The clueing can lead you to many different finishes.
Terribly clued, before I got it. Very, very well clued after. :-)
Fun to have a challenging crypto! Good job!!
One of my best days ever... 5th, 6th and 14th!!! Woohoooo!
Ouch. 101. Would have done better if I had placed more emphasis on the last syllable instead of trying to combine the last two clues into one word.
This must have been a regionally run campaign. Never heard of it.
I don't even know what this is..................
[13] I don't think it was a campaign. Just a regular, run-of-the-mill bumper sticker.
[3][9] and um, [11] - I think :) - Thanks!
first part is easy, I'm not getting the second part. And does the back of the car have anything to do with it?
[16] yes, it is a hint
[16] only indirectly.
grrrr, okay, it's a bumper sticker, but I'm still not getting that last part. Any salt please?
i'm stumped on the finish
[19][20] there is no plus sign between the last two clues
[15] I googled it and it said it was a campaign in Texas (and maybe Oklahoma too).
Fun Sonjahl!
Never heard of it - but I quite agree!!! **Remind myself to go to the bumber-sticker store. ***After I research where I might find a bumper-sticker store. . .
although i just got it - seems kind of obvious now
[21] THANKS! That did it for me. :)
[22] Ah! Well, I guess it is regional then. :)
I just thought it was a funny bumper sticker that made a good point and allowed for some (obviously, judging by the solve rate) tricky cross-word cluing.
the distinction between the skinny line and the bold line was kind of tricky. AGT had technical difficulties.
Blast! Oh well, one must choose which addiction to pursue...
I swear I tried that 10 minutes ago!
Ah, I failed to make a word plural.
Had a lot of trouble with this one....and I live in Texas.
[15] [26] Never heard of it, but was able to get it nonetheless, even though I assumed it was a Dad's warning to his kids when he made a quick stop for gas on a long road trip!
Nice one, sonjahi! So that was number 2, huh?
I thought it was well-clued. Came back to this after getting the OWW, and got my aha after saying it aloud a few times. Fun!
Edit. sorry folks ... I got it with the help of google.
[32] Yeah, Arnott's comment when he scheduled this was: LOL, pretty slow "race" I'm bettin'
:) How many months ago was that?
Thanks [12] even though I was thinking that I didn't get it till I read your post.
[33] I'm going to flag your comment, but you have a part wrong. It's not "bold". One line is thin, the other line is...
I finished it but the clues for the second line still don't make any sense to me.
Darn short attention span! "7 hours, 57 minutes and 24 seconds" I brought this up and got then noticed I had a tangagram. By the time I answered that and did the OWW, it was time to go to bed. Finally remembered to come to this the next morning.
You planned that tangagram distraction all along, didn't you sonjahi? :-)
You solved this puzzle in 4 minutes and 38 seconds and were the 308th Tanga member to solve it.
[12] is a good clue. I didn't get it at first but their clue actually is helpful. Whatever you had as the last word, try splitting it into 2 words
[38] Yep! That's why I sent it to you first thing Tuesday morning - so it'd be sure to trip you up during solve time! :)
Great puzzle. It stumped me at first, but the cluing was perfect, once I sounded it out.
GGAAAAAHHHHH!! I don't want to do these anymore, but when I solve them, it's so worth it lol. Even if: "You solved this puzzle in 11 hours, 40 minutes and 32 seconds and were the 341st Tanga member to solve it." Those last two clues are what got me.
I wonder why the SPAM catcher didn't get [45]?
Help!! I'm completely clueless to this one!
[46] Too busy catching us, I guess. You'd think TangaJoe could hardcode that web address into the spam filter and be done with it.
[47] Feel free to send me a Tangagram with what you have and I'll help out.
I had the first two words and then googled it, also. I don't think I ever would have gotten it otherwise. #389
