it was the A = clue at the bottom that made this one a "unusually easy" Al puzzle..

Nice puzzle--should have come here before the hyper (which gave me "bit-fits"...to paraphrase a fellow serviceman), but the last two words could have been reversed for equally common two-word phrases (but without the correct answer word)...

Once one is up to 9 hours and 5 minutes, does the extra 35 seconds really count? :-)
[17] Yes E-F and F-G would have been fine but G-A would have yielded a realtively less common two-word phrase. (I guess it wouldn't be a completely impossible phrase, depending on what you're looking to purchase.)

YAY! I thought that was super fun. I'd have preferred it without the extra hint after the directions, I think, but that might have ratcheted it too far up in difficulty.
