Hooray!!! I made it in the top 100!!!!!!!!
never heard of it, but that's no surprise for me....
Frustrating... My computer clock showed it was just barely 8:59 and this puzzle was already there... 7 seconds got me 77th... I appreciate the symmetry but would have rather been here "on time"...
Nicely done puzzle, bargellos.
Well clued, bargellos.

Very efficiently clued, I liked it.
I do have a question that comes more out of curiosity than nitpicking: doesn't picturing multiple bottles of different varieties add an 'S' on the end that shouldn't be there?
Alas, it seems too late to start a long thread on that topic. And I have no good authorities to definitively answer that question.
[11] The plural for that object is the same as the singular. My personal opinion is that when you show a single picture of multiple objects, you use the actual plural for the objects pictured. If you show multiple duplicate images, then you are being told to add an S. That last sentence is up for debate, I suppose. But to me, adding an S on this one would have been just plain odd and non-intuitive. If I show you multiple blades of grass, you still call it grass. Two moose standing side by side are still moose. Same for sheep, fish, deer, bread, tea, soap, etc...
Not that I'm an authority either, [12], I just find the notion of interpreting that last picture with an S odd...
[11] At best, it's ambiguous. In some senses, the plural for that object is the same as the singular, but in others it is not. In this case, because the four bottles are of different varieties, I would definitely put an "s" on the end. Ambiguity could easily have been avoided by showing a single bottle, or a bottle and glass, or just a glass.
[12] [13] First off, let me be clear that I think the puzzle 'works' perfectly well as is and didn't mean the question as criticism. The picture just happened to spark a bit of curiosity on my part as I've heard people refer to the last picture plural with an 's'.
I just did an online search of the plural form (which I probably should have done in the first place instead of going the lazy route and just asking here lol) and it apparently depends on the details. I'm pretty sure that when you're talking about different types of xxxx (as pictured above) the plural is with an 's'. If they had all been the same type the plural would have been the same as the singular. Weird, huh?
And again, this is much more 'trivia-ish' to me than a criticism of the puzzle. It works perfectly well as is : ).
Edit: Philana posted while I was typing the above. Had I waited another minute or two I could have saved myself the effort : ).
And after all this, no one has commented on my selection of Charles Shaw brand. Perhaps those that don't know, aren't commenting. And those that do know, are concerned about admitting to be very familiar with it? In my case, I live in a state where I can't get it, so I actually need to buy it in another state. And yes, I do that.
[17] I just looked up Charles Shaw wine and you won't see any criticism from me. I'm not a wine drinker and in my current financial state my wine purchases are limited to the occasions when Oak Leaf goes on sale for $2.00 a bottle. If Shaw were available here I'd love to compare the two brands : ).
Edit: it's actually Oak Leaf brand.
Damn, I would have had it if I didn't depend on that line meaning the logical 'or' like in programming :P.... Damn my nerdiness lol
