I knew after we saw this solve type a few weeks ago that it would be back in no time.
The 3rd bracket threw me a bit. I've never heard the one item called that. Around here it only goes by it's other name.
[1] FWIW, this puzzle was created in early June.
Wow 8 min in and still 37th
[2] That is what threw me, but I got it from the other 2 words.
Stuck on the last bracket :(
Took me a while to get the last one, but it finally hit.
I really enjoy these, but they tend to take time.
I got the third one straight away. Now if I could only figure out the second...
nice!!
:)
FUN!
The last bracket took me too long. But, I finally got it.
I've got the 3 words...
Got all three and stuck on the final rinse, etc. for a while, but VERY NICE PUZZLE!!!!
Got the last 2...stuck on the first one...lol
[7] The 2nd one was the first one I got!
[4] I kept thinking there must be another word, then finally tried the word that fit with the other 2 words in the bracket.
You are a freaking genius!! You solved this puzzle.
You solved this puzzle in 21 minutes and 33 seconds and were the 99th Tanga member to solve it. You earned 12 points for solving this.
It is what it is...
I had the first bracket wrong, but got the final word from the other two.
Pretty sure "cock" would work here. Oh well, skunked.
15th and 16th on other puzzles though. Meh.
Edit: Confirmed- "cock" does fit the puzzle. Is it not common enough?
I must protest an ambiguous answer! I was too late for bonus points anyway...
I must have the three words wrong. Gritting my teeth again
Just sure it was park.
[17] Lol, you're right. The bottom bracket is quite a stretch for me.
I have several words that at least sort of fit, but nothing has worked so far.
Sigh... got here late. 119.
[19] I was sure it was park, too
"Park" makes sense for the second and third word...so does that mean I have them right or wrong?
[24] You probably have them right, your answer's just wrong. There are (arguably) multiple answers that work here. See [17].
Is that wall in the background in Chicago?
um, help a newbie someone, what am i supposed to be doing here?
For each bracket, you want to find a word that can follow all three words.
The background image is just noise.
Guessed wrong on the first set and don't recognize the 3rd item in the 3rd set, but it was enough to get the right answer.
I came up with that, too [17]. Great minds think alike. :) 137th after 1 hour 36 min. Had to think about it over dinner....
Took me 2 minutes 4 seconds ... now if I only got here when it came up.
solved it with only the 3rd bracket and some guessing. Not many option there after all XD
[17] i kept trying that as well!
... The final answer is what had me stuck.. the other ones were a breeze. Now I'll just go back to playing pokemon
I didnt care for this as much because the final answer has many legitimate answers that could easily fit. Such as [17] & [19] & "Stop" & "Room" & of course the accepted answer.
I give up. I have the three clues, but can't get the final answer. Any salt?
these are fun types of puzzles, i think i enjoy them on the smaller scale a bit more than arnott's (http://www.tanga.com/puzzles/9010-9-28-2011) a few months ago, that one took me a long time.
Have multiple options for the last step. Is there some logic to be applied or just trial/error and brute force.
Thanks [38] I had skipped that OWW, cuz no idea how to do it, so reading the solution definitely helped me here.
[35] Clever girl. Tetris is where it's at.
These 10 points made me an APPLE!!
I finally figure out. Don't bother using google quick search on the 3rd bracket.
so many options
I am pretty sure I have the all 3 brackets, I just can't find a common relation between those 3 words. Can someone help me out? 1) something you play, 2) something you drink, 3) something you live in?
I think you should get a point for 100 wrong answers
[44] - 1 & 2 of mine seem to be same as yours. Have a different one for 3. And I don't have answer yet.
[1][3][38] Yeah, I'd been working on mine since February :) But Phinana had this in the queue already well before mine showed up here. It's actually one of the few times I beat her to an idea :) I think that makes me something like 2-18 now :P
[38] Funny thing is this one took me over an hour and Arnott's took me 35 minutes. And I only got the final answer of this one with some salt.
