How to Play
One Word Wonders are word puzzles where the answer is exactly one word. Decipher the image below to come up with the answer. For a better idea on how to solve this puzzle view an example. If you get stuck you can ask for help in the comments section. Hints are posted 24 hours after puzzle's publish date (if provided by author).

Another one right in my wheelhouse, thanks Al!
(PS: It's not potato)
Don't see how PASCAL fits into the numbers given in the sequence shown?
[3] TRI his ANGLE
edited for irrelevance (at this point). I'll leave [6] to give people a flavor of the fun we were having last night. :)
Re-Edit: [4], [6] I'm going to go with "I'm just getting old and senile"
[5] Ahhh... now I see. Your numbering is off, man. Couldn't figure out why in the world you thought me referring to kanji was too salty. :)
And as far as whether [3] is too salty, I don't think so. I vaguely remembered this and was able to Google to get the remembrance fully in my head. But there's plenty of people here who aren't math afficienados who can't get started until they know that such a thing exists.
Nice puzzle, Al!
[3], yeah, yeah. yeah.....[5], thanks for the salt, but no help--The AM I think (P.S., you salted yourself..)
[3][5] You both like to talk to yourselves??
[9], : ) I was getting confused with the comments here.
[7], thanks.
[1], glad you like it. I knew you would.
[10] You weren't the only one getting confused! I was the one being given a what-for! And I couldn't for the life of me figure out why! lol
I basically liked the puzzle too although I found all the stuff above and below to be confusing. I think I would have preferred it without the things that looked like answer blocks.
The one night I am actually still awake on the east coast and I can't get anything.
[11], well, if you moderated this you could have brought that point up. : )
You're right. I borrowed this image, as is, but could have easily cropped that stuff off.
[13] I don't think it's a big deal. I mean, it doesn't take much to realize that it is freakin' IMPOSSIBLE to distinguish some of them from each other so it obviously can't be part of the solve method! But after wondering over them, I then tried to figure out what symbols belonged under the red dots and how I could convert them to something useful.
I was just way off. Haven't been on at solve time lately and I've got a theory that my ability to quickly solve the OWWs goes down the more I am away...
[12] TG sent
[14] While the bottom symbols may be impossible to figure out, it IS in fact possible to figure out what symbols should be under the red dots. :D
Woot... I have just enough of the triangle memorized to be able to solve this without having to write it out.
Difficulty? Pfff... 1 star. :-P
"But I don't want to be a pirate!"
no,no,no,I did not like this, did not no,no,no
I am mathematically impaired although I think it fascinating, my brain is allergic to numerical concepts
I don't think this puzzle has enough girl stuff in it.
[20], math is for girls, too!
People tell me all the time that I should get Pascal's Triangle tattooed on my back because of how much I use it in math...
Nada. Zip. I got nothing.
A--->E would have much better than trying to fit 1-->5 into the PASCAL solve....I used to like Math, but I'm not a big Mehth fan anymore....
[16] Yes, it is. Well, except for 3 & 5 (unless you happen to know the language used). But then trying to figure out what to do with THAT leaves you pretty stumped.
[21] Here! Here!
[23] Try Googling what [22] was talking about. (The triangle, not the tattoo).
Without the salt would never have gotten this one...Thanks....#188
I Googled the term and got "pascals triangle is a triangular array of the binomial coefficients in a triangle". Enough said. With that info, I will bail out and awaits tonight's puzzle.
Thanks [3], I only knew him as a Newton per meter squared.
