I humbly thank you for a fun puzzle...
Well, I've got a 3x3 grid with all my lines matching. But I'm not sure what to do with it.
I'm starting to get just a little vertiginous...
[2] I'm right there with you.
[3] Oh, now don't go throwing big words around. I'm already all tangled up with the threads of this puzzle! LOL
Perhaps the solver (cough...[1]...cough) could sprinkle a little salt here.
yes, sme salt. My eyes are crossing
[7] LOL. I've never heard of salt as a remedy for cross-eye. :D
[2], [4], et al.: Once the puzzle is done, it's Tanga time...
[8] My eyes feel like there is some salt in them
[10] Well if there is, spill some here. LOL I'm getting nowhere on this!
I've solved it, but I don't know what to tell you that you probably haven't already figured out. You have to rotate the 9 squares and arrange them in a 3 x 3 square with all the colored lines matching at the seams.
Then you might have to rotate the entire 3 x 3 square in order to determine the answer.
[12] Thanks for the nudge! Got it.
[12] Thanks, Philana.
I missed the middle line at first, and still got a word that fit as a puzzle answer. Weird.
Is there more than one way that the pieces fit together? I've got all the lines connected, and I see some stuff that makes sense but not consistently through all nine tiles no matter which way I rotate the whole puzzle.
[16] There is one way to orient it that does make sense. Don't forget to use the "2" at the bottom left corner!
Ok, I'm with [16], lines are connected nicely, but not matter which way I flip I don't get anything. We looking at the lines or the numbers? What does the 2 have to do with anything?
edit: ok...finally got...
I'm with moondog [18] I don't see anything.
[17] Thank you! Turns out I had it oriented the right way all along. I just didnt understand the directions involving that blasted "2"!
LATE SOLVERS
======================
First match up the lines at the seams....(you are NOT matching numbers, just lines) then rotate the whole puzzle so the 2 on the outside of the puzzle lines up with one of the ZEROS in the blue puzzle block, making it 20.
Then tanga, row by row.
One of the wrong puzzle rotations tangas out to "Hey, Flip it"....kinda cute!
