I would have liked if the yellow and orange were the opposite colors, since the rainbow colors were used.
[1] It wouldn't have worked properly that way, if I read your comment correctly.
Hmm... I had two of them named wrong but one of them gave me the letter for the other one, causing only one letter to be wrong and then the order got close enough that I figured out what the word must be from what I had.
hmmm????
Those look a lot more like orange diamonds to me, instead of what I normally think of as ....
Still, it got me close enough to be #2.
Alright! just about got 1st on all three!!!!!!
[5] Yeah, that was one of my mistakes. The other was thinking that I was looking at HALF of a circle instead of, well... the word he wanted...
I can't get this one. Do the colors matter at all, other than a way to categorize the shapes?
I've got a word, but it's not right.
Guessed the word, then read the solve method. Whatever works...
Thanks for the puzzle, dragon!
OK we are past 100. SALT PLEASE!
Never mind, got it. Had the wrong name for the orange shapes. Plus, [1] had me thinking the colors didn't have a significance to them, when they do, although you don't need to do it that way to solve it.
Well, now that there are over 100 solves, I can solve my own puzzle for the 0 points (I just want to keep my "all puzzles solved" status :-)
[13] I decided to color it that way as an added clue. not needed, but a useful confirmation.
[8] You don't need the colors. They can be used, but are not necessary to the solve at all.
[12] There's one red thingy- what's that called again? what about those yellow thingies?
For the orange shapes, use the most specific name that fits.
Arc; Parallelogram; Quadrilateral !
oh....groan......
I was making this way too hard.....
[17] That fits what?
How pouring some salt on us snails
Thought I had it... didn't get it... I suck at OWW's lol
hmmmm... random guess got it. I would have never got the 4 sided shape name.
Had to break out the geometry book on this one. I'm too old to remember that far back. Nice puzzle.
Yeah I kind of hated the solve method, I got frustrated because I was doing it the right way so I decided to be a ironic by guessing random words and i got it.. who knew.
Why do 4-sided things have so many different names, but things with 5 or more sides don't?
[3] Whatever she said. And I mean "whatever"
Once I got the right word for the red shape, that was simple!
I was using the 3D word for the shape.
My problem was that in fact, the blue ones are not octagons.
Identifying number of sides fail.
I think I determined all the shape names, yet, no idea.... waiting til 8pm to check the answer :o)
