1, 2, & 6 tonight. phew!
LIked it!
Wow, top 60. Almost never do that well with Al's. Just had to uncover the hidden meaning...
I feel like a cop investigating a stolen toilet... not much to go on!
Excellent!
whew, no clue.....
not seeing it....
Dang...I was so close all along. Just couldn't quite put it together right.
[4] LOL, good one!
hurry up and salt.....getting fatigued.
Ha ha [5]....very funny!
"You solved this puzzle in 34 seconds and were the 98th Tanga member to solve it."
Woot. Got her 19 minutes late ans still got a couple bonus points!
Is there something hidden in the camo background?...or am I over thinking things?
Does the value of the fraction or the color of the numbers mean anything?
Salt: phonetics are not your friend on this one.
You'll do better on this one by writing out what you see. (Cammo is only the background, don't worry about it.)
Well, it's not obvious ;-)
[14][15] No to both.
One of my least favorite states, BTW. Bleh!!!
finally got it. there is tanga-ing involved.
and i really did not think that was truly camo, but it is. it looked more like bad sofa upholstery to me.
Oh! Doh. *laughing* Okay, that was quite clever, actually! Nice.
137th and only 10 points but I feel as if I got a lobotomy!!! Wonder if my "freakin' genius" status will ever happen again! However it is a good puzzle.
Could have been 'Chianti' but no.... Nice puzzle & answer Al!
oh, came back to it and duh......was making it too hard. It could have been 666 for its devilish nature.
That black line made me think of math....wasn't really needed at all.
Well, that was interesting...
Had my "a-ha" at 34 solves and one comment, entered my answer, and then...
Had my "grrr!" as I realized I had lost my internet connection, and then...
Had another "grrr!" when my phone wouldn't let me login, came back this morning to submit again...
Had my "huh?" when it told me there was a problem and I should refresh, which I did, and then...
Had my "Really?! Cool!" when the refreshed page told me I had been the 39th solver at 3min 9 secs!
LOL - All that stomping around and pouting last night at having an answer I couldn't enter! *shakes head*
Very nice puzzle, TangaAl!
[24] Your comment made me wonder if I've been mispronouncing that wine all these years, but according to the dictionary, the first sound is pronounced 'kee', not 'see', so I don't see how that would work.
[24] [26] I also flirted with 'chianti' before rejecting it as too big a phonetic stretch : )
Nice and sneaky - sorry I missed it last night.
Whifff.....................the crickets are chirping really loudly for me on this one.
[17] is what did it for me. I ignored the advice for quite a while, but when nothing else came to mind, I gave it a shot. Got it right away.
