Grumpy grump grump! If you're going to make us search the internet you have to give us enough to go on. It's not a puzzle if I have not point of referrance. (I'm referring to the picture of the big X of course.) Or if it is the X that you don't confuse it with a bunch of extraneous album stuff.

Finally......NEVER EVER heard of this!!
LOL... So came late. Saw the first comment about the X. Thought maybe they were kidding, maybe they weren't. Then the next comment. Then the next. And I was thinking, "What is wrong with these people? It's just a freakin' X. Why is it hanging them up so much?" Then I saw [11]... Oh. They must have been looking at a different X than I was looking at. :)

WOW. I can't believe there are so many complaints about this one. I'm about as slow as they get sometimes and I got it in 18 seconds, without looking at the thumbnail, etc. For those who can't get it, I think you're overthinking.

Never knew they made those! Good puzzle though.
Took me a bit, I got the first word fast.. it was that last one that i was stuck on.. but, and i may be CORRECT, that X could have been replaced with a few pictures of something else that would have been easier. Don't over analyze it. Once i said it out loud is made sense! Yummy!

[20] It's the same X. It just used to have so weird rune-like writing on right side of it. It's from an album cover, I guess. So some people thought you had to search for it and maybe come up with the artist name/album name/etc.
[34] Basically, what I saw on the monitor that I used when I created the puzzle was just an X. The secret writing didn't show up. So it's possible that if you saw this puzzle before Arnott fixed the X, you too may have seen just an X and may have wondered why he fixed the X.
I find that how well various monitors display shades of black/gray varies from monitor to monitor. If anyone understands the technical reason for this and if my understanding it would help me when purchasing a new monitor, please do let me know. You can write a TG to me. I may be in the market for a new monitor soon.
I gave up and looked at the answer. Not too bad. Kinda like the Saturday crossword puzzle. Anything goes.
