Oops, my original note was not meant for you!
Was, once again, looking for an extra step. Will learn one of these days :-).
[1] lol! :)
I figured it out for the bottom fairly quickly and it's a pretty neat idea. I kinda expected there to be more to work out though so it took me a minute to realize I was done. I like the very subtle hints toward what to do - that's nice.
NIce one SP.
Bad night for me :(
Not a clue on this or the crypto.
[5]..this one has me too...
edit..had to sleep on it...
me too
I instantly saw a common 2-letter fill-in, but I have no idea what to do with it, or what "heavy metal" is getting at.
[8] ditto
me too
[8] Maybe you need to find those subtle hints... maybe do some Googling to find the appropriate elements you need.
Drove me crazy for 11 minutes, but I loved it ! thanks, Smithy/
[3] I took the same process, but a much much longer (in time) route to get to the answer. I had the pieces but I was just really slow to put everything together. Sometimes I guess I just have to periodically reassess where I'm going when I'm solving these things. Sheesh!
Wow, saw the two-letter fill-in and was looking at the right graphic, but it took Sonjahi's comment to drive home what I needed to be looking for. Thanks for the NaCl!
*slaps forehead* Took me way too long to get that 'aha' considering I was staring right at it! Oh well, got 94th! Nice idea SmithyP!
OMG....I thought I had already tired that....must have misspelled it the first time.....groan
Gosh, who ever knew that having the elements song would actually prove to be useful someday?
That's not how you spell hooray :)
Very clever, and definitely one of those puzzles you just need that "aha" moment for.
i must be missing the aha.. i've got the initial clue.. but the two ideas i had went nowhere. (even though you could argue they're legitimate possibilities)
can i buy a vowel Vanna?
[21] it's really "el em en ta...re".......
Got the bottom half instantly....However I thought we were looking for a word that ends in that...Fun Puzzle, however if it were for the background I would have never gotten it!
