Complainers, start your engines!
Stupid tanga not taking the verbal answer!!!!
No complaints here. My first 1st. Go me!
You solved this puzzle in 39 seconds and were the 53rd Tanga member to solve it. You earned 58 points for solving this.
What..... me complain?
Love it! [1]
I always grumble anyway, so... grumble grumble grumble!
*GRUMBLE*
[1] Since you admittedly know it will happen why do you allow it?
Seems pretty dumb to me.
[1] I saw nothing wrong with it at all. I'm not sure what the alternative would be referring to, but the answer as taken is well known.
[1] I am referring to the puzzle, of course.
[1] Good call! (And yes, I did a *quick grumble* as well, but quickly recovered! *grin*)
(Though I'm surprised that both versions of answer were in the comments box, though - that almost made it worse to me....)
My favorite book! I liked this one, quick and easy to solve. :)
What I find interesting is that people appear (judging by [11] & [2]) to be unsettled about numbers vs. letters. But Arnott's scheduling comment that I can see indicates that he expected the complaints to be along the lines of "this is not a cryptopix" - not sure I see why it wouldn't be.
[11] Agree with your comment about the solution notes, but the spelled out version appeared to be a cut&paste from Wikipedia. If you look at actual book covers, it's usually numbers.
[8] Why allow something just because we know there will be complaints? Because if we didn't, we'd never run any puzzles. Certainly never any cutting edge or unique ones. There will always be someone unhappy with any puzzle.
FWIW, I liked this one just fine. Thanks, mom! :)
[10] *laugh* I hope so...........
i dont see any problem with it ... as said above , it is well known and so is the form its in..
i liked it
[11] The way the words were formed by the "pix" providing parts of the words, I felt I needed to use the actual words to explain the puzzle in the solution. Anyway, you don't see the solution till you've already solved it....hmmmmm.......
[13] Back at ya son!! ;-)
[9] I concur!!
[1] Thanks for featuring it........against your better judgement?
[8] Not dumb at all, pretty darn smart I think!!!
[12] I like it too, just hits too close to home lately!
[15] :-)
Excellent! Especially enjoyed the bottom left pic... clever to incorporate the material into the cryptopix!
One of my favorite Tina Turner songs.
[1] Okay,I couldn't get to this puzzle for hours because of a power outage. So I only got 372nd. :)
[17] Thanks, I always try to do that.....when the mean ol'
administrators will let me......;-)
Does the programming of the solution input only accept one answer? e.g. could it have been set to accept both forms?
[13] You missed the point, again.
