I kept incorrectly thinking the guy in the white hat was a villan. But then it donned on me. Nicely clued.

I actually was correctly identifying it as it turns out but kept getting it was incorrect because I forgot one thing. Finally figured out what I was missing. Thanks [10] for confirming with me.
I still don;t get how any of you use google to solve these. I get the middle of this one - the first line isnt "plus" I get the mad magazine reference. No amount of googling helps.
[12] Just start putting in what you have for each clue. Sometimes you get lucky with a google autocomplete. If that doesn't work, try to say what you get out loud and see if you can pick out any of the words. Sometimes it just takes getting that one word correct for google to recognize the phrase.

Never heard of it. I thought the 2nd clue was indicating to covert all the 3R's to L's. That could have been clued better. Well clued otherwise. Love the 2nd to last clue!
