I am not doing a handstand. *grin* (Not salt)
That took me much longer than it should have. I like what the not-spider was saying... very nice way to nudge people along at a point of possible error.
Nice one Adam! And at first I thought the theme was shorthand text, starting with lol. : )
Wow. Really? ~35 solves in under a minute? Again: wow.
Damn, you people are fast tonight- 65th.
I had this figured but thought that sounded to easy of a method and second guessed myself without trying it, went with a different method and got the wrong answer, went back to the first method and got it right
[4] seriously...It took me a little under five minutes to solve it and missed the top 100 because I was over an hour late but after reading [3] was just shocking.
Fun puzzle though!
I didn't care for this one. I found part of it extremely misleading.
Took me 3:53, but I arrived wait late.
[7] What did you find misleading? This one seemed pretty straightforward to me -- and even the obvious misstep on image 3 was guided away from.
[8] Well it took me 1:18:23 and believe me I was trying to solve it for most of that. Yes the "mistep" on 3 was completely obvious. So obvious that the hint there actually greatly hindered me instead of helped me. I kept fixating on a synonym instead of a specific type.
[3] Where did you get that stat? The first solve was over a minute in. I was 36th and it took me almost 3 minutes. We had ~35 solves in THREE minutes.
[9] That one didn't give me any trouble at all. I did consider putting the word "Spanish" in front of the one after it though. I thought maybe the song was hinting toward that.
[10] Difference in perspective I suppose. I really liked the clue for the 4th one - it would leave someone who was unsure what animal that was a really good way to determine what word was expected.
I just had a bad night. Sometimes you get so fixated that you've got everything right and you're just applying the clues incorrectly that you don't see other possibilities for your step 1 answers.
for some reason, i went off on some crazy tangent dealing with lamb chops and mexican cockroaches. don't do that.
I hate to admit it, but I just can't seem to get a leg up on this one.
Oh I just hate it when I am not home and there is a nice, straightforward puzzle! Nice one.
Yeah, liked it. If only I would learn to count/tanga more carefully.
Cute.
The third creature has more appendages than that!
[17] But that's not the theme. I (a human) have exactly two of what is asked for, despite the fact that my number of "appendages" is larger.
