[1][5] I'm curious about what seems to be a big stretch. I think it's clear what's intended, and after the first image, I think the phonetics are right on. I use dictionary.com as a key reference. If you think there's a stretch, please send me a Tangagram explaining why. Believe it or not, I can still fix the puzzle after it's published.

[6] Seems straightforward and spot-on. Of course I am a gluten for punishment. (now THAT was a stretch)

[6] For me, the last syllable of the puzzle is not the same sound as the last word of the solution. But then again, neither is the first word. That's a little easier to figure out though, because of the spelling.

[10] Check out the dictionary.com phonetics for that last syllable.

[11] That did it for me. Apparently, I've never heard that word pronounced correctly; I kept wanting to go with a long "e" sound at the end.

Exchanging the E for a U was a fine idea but it should have been done on the third clue instead of the second.

[13] Or perhaps you should consult a dictionary. The pronunciation is correct. Although as [12] indicated, many people (incorrectly) pronounce it with a long "e". And to not do it on the second clue would have been wrong as well.

As I've learned (the hard way) around here, your pronunciation is not necessarily right.
