what is the 2nd pic?
I do not understand that first clue at all. I Googled the other two words and it gives me something that does not take. I can not think of what that rock/stone/or whatever that thing is to subtract it from the first thing
yes, what is it?
[2] Um, you used the word right there in your post. If you call the first thing the right word (hint: not 'clover'), it should be very apparent what that 2nd object must be, because, after all, it must be part of the first word in order to subtract. (I know that's obvious, which is why I'm guessing you maybe don't have the first word right.)
[4] Thanks, I would have never gotten that without your help. Even after your salt I still had to Google synonyms to get it.
[5] :-) Glad I could help. Not a St. Patrick's Day fan, I assume...
Whoever got #1 was faster than a cannonball
Once you get the first part the rest comes pretty easy but the first part took some thinking.
Gah! I should have known that, I'm Irish!
The first picture is wrong. It should have 3 leaves. That's why the story goes that St. Patrick used it explain the Trinity.
Don't worry if you're having trouble. Someday you will find it.
Never heard of it -- but got it from the great clues.
Whats the Story Morning Glory?
[4] - If it wasn't for your salt, I would still be staring at this thing like Tuna looking for a sailboat! O.o Once I got it, it was like a star exploded in my head!

Got here the day after. Stumped at first, but like [4] said, once the first word clicked, it made sense. Really liked the cluing here, sammy! Clever use in the bottom row...
Never heard of this answer before. Once I figured out the top part and the beginning of the bottom part, a quick Google search gave me what I needed though.
Always thought of first pic as being called a one thing and the clue answer as having less leaves. BTW I am 1/2 Irish. :) Like the puzzle though.
had it from the thumbnail but hit a spelling wall and gave up on the answer. Started second guessing the last row and it went downhill. got it when I saw a missing m. *ack*
