I absolutely love this puzzle but between the... um... colorful language in it and the toughness of the first clue if you aren't familiar with the phrase, I felt Sat morning was the best place for it. Yep. I'm the mean ole mod that did it.
I agree that it's quite cleverly clued. But unfortunately, the phonetics are off for that final vowel sound in the second image.
