Apparently your idea of a 'fancy dinner' is different from mine :-)

Specialty of the House or something that is unusual and on the high end of price on the menu.

Where's the beef! There is nothing like a GOOD steak that someone else has prepared!

I'm a veggie. Alot of times there's meat in pasta, so I order vegetables just to be safe.

[10] I used to be vegan so I know that it is hard to order at some restaurants. I gave it up in honor of the cow and it's sheer tastiness.

In Omaha, try the beef. In Charleston, try the seafood. In Italy, try it all.

[14] It is hard not to try it all in Italy. I was truly surprised. Here we have pasta as a meal, there it was a first course. Delicious yes but way to easy to eat until you can't move.

Actually, nothing is better than a properly aged rib-eye and a good cabernet sauvignon (or for the wine snobs - a good Bordeaux).
