Oops. I just saw your Shoutout to me. This was my first private Tanga message, and I'm not used to seeing anything here.
I know what it's like to lose a beloved pet; but I don't think I've ever had one that's lived with me for as long as your two cats. Even after less than a quarter of that time, they are definitely part of the family.
(After giving this Shoutout to myself, I had to figure out how to do it to you.)
My condolences and sympathy to you as well on the passing of your kitties. It's not LIKE when family passes, it IS family passing when it happens. I'm sure your unconditional love for them and theirs for you was something special and hopefully you found/are able to find peace with their absence. God Bless...
Thanks for the comment on the photo. I had been staying in Kyle of Lochalsh and knew that no trip to that part of the Highlands would be complete with a trip to Eilean Donan. We'd had a blustery, rainy day, so I have many photos with the castle and too much fog to see anything else.
Thanks for the add and I love your puzzles! Keep 'em coming :-D
Hey, Ol' Leadfoot!
Well, I was directed here from the boardgamegeek website, and they play a lot of "Settlers of Catan" over there. Sheep and wheat are two of the resource cards you trade in Catan. Satisfactory? Thanks for the shout! I like it here!
I went to the December 11th puzzle. It's a stick of butter. Or margarine. And I've tried dozens of answers. Apparently I'm being as dense as that stick of butter. ::waves to Leadfoot for the shoutout::
Well first, it's been about 1 1/2 months. I was making a schedule change at work (nights to days) so I had to stay up today but wasn't awake enough to do anything productive. I spent about 5 hours watching The Office and answering about 1400 random questions, not to mention making some up. I try to solve puzzles as fast as possible to get the bonus points. I think it's much easier to accumulate points with 2.0 than with 1.0.
ZOMG is Oh My God, with the Z acting as kind of a frontal exclamation point. Or something. I dunno, I've seen a lot of other people doing it and I'm trying to conform so no one makes fun of me *hangs head in shame*
Seriously. Its been a long long time. You have always been the puzzle master though lol. Even in my olden days (makes you feel like a Tanga Oldtimer huh, lol)
Leadfoot was a huge help to me during the last Tangathon (previous to Tanga 2.0). I just wanted to give her a shoutout to let her know how much I appreciated it, even if I didn't get them all solved early enough to qualify for the drawing.

OMG. That puzzle from last year. I can't even begin to parse the logic it took to link those.
I even tried "snot" from the old "you think it's butter, but it's not" ads.
