This one was better than the lantern. It allowed you to use creativity AND have an end product that was actually usable. 13 year old grand daughter had fun with it.

This was a disappointment in unboxing for my 8 year old granddaughter. The directions were difficult to follow and she needed a lot of help with assembly. Box states appropriate for age 8. Product itself does not look as nice as depicted on the box. Do not recommend.

I don't know anything about it, other than my grandchild will enjoy making it.

This was a gift so I never saw it. The person I sent it to, an 11 year old girl, was excited to receive it. Personally, I loved the concept — the combination of art and science fit together perfectly.

I liked the overall idea and thought my granddaughter would enjoy putting this together. Her mother passed away unexpectedly in July and I thought it would be a nice way for her to think of her mom shining down on the chimes and lighting up at night to show her she was watching over her. Unfortunately, the light up feature never worked. We tried everything we could think, but it never did work. She had fun putting it together and coloring the panels. I wish that the solar feature had worked. I bet it would have been awesome.

Fun art project for 6 yr old. Smaller but cute. Did not light up at night?
