I bought the luminoodle to use on a golf cart to play night golf, and it worked perfectly. The magnets and rubber straps were more than enough to attach the luminoodle to the front of a golf cart. When I first opened the package it was in a nice resealable bag that will be good to store the device while not in use. Upon unraveling the luminoodle my cat decided to attack, and it survived the thrashing that he can dish out. I tried it out in lantern mode in my closet which is the darkest room in my home. The light the device put out was impressive, and they way it sits in the bag allows the light to cover every direction pretty well. I currently have the luminoodle wrapped around the mount behind my television (it's plugged into the usb port on the back of the tv) to provide a nice dim light while watching movies.

Perfect Balcony lighting Brings a nice night time atmosphere while just hanging out . Get creative in hanging thesese lights . Great battery back but you should of course have a second one in hand just in case you try to go all night using them. Over all 10 ft luminoodle is nice.

I have a very dark closet. Placed tiny hooks around top of closet and added this. Whenever I need to make sure I'm wearing the correct color ( e.g.black versus navy blue pants) I no longer need to take multiple clothes into another room to check color.

Purchased the 5' rope and a battery pack. On a recent camping trip (cold one at that) wrapped it around the roof supports of a 10' pop up canopy over my outdoor kitchen. Only stretched 1/2 way but provided plenty of light to cook by. Would have been sufficient to eat, clean up, play games, etc. However, I decided to buy the 10' one for that purpose next time as the wife likes a bit more light and use the 5' one for other needs. Seems rugged - only time will tell. Although the rope appears waterproof, obviously the power supplies aren't so have them in a ziplock to keep the rain off them when needed.

It put out way more light than expected and lit up our whole cooking tent I wish it had a dimmer or different output settings. That is my only knock, right out of the box it weathered a tropical storm with 2 solid hours of downpour 0 issues! Excellent value for what it does and a good small solar battery bank of your choice is recommended my 8000 mw kept it on for 5 hours with almost no drain on the battery so it sips energy.

I bought this to take camping with me. We like to play games while camping and depending on the layout of the camp site, we can't always sit under our trailer's awning. This way we can bring light to the rest of our campsite. I bought the 10 foot. It puts out a lot of light. I can't wait to try it out on our next camping trip.

The light is soft, but bright which I love. The magnets and loops are perfect! I can attach this to pretty much anything, and have light everywhere that I need it. I have used it for an event that didn't' offer vendors lighting, so I attached my Luminoodle to my pop up to allow my customers to better see my product. I use the lantern feature to get around inside and outside my house at night when I don't want to wake anyone and don't want to scare anyone with a flashlight beam. My usb power bank is pretty big, and it fits in the bag with the Luminoodle perfectly. I also used it for camping. It is perfect light on the popup over the table while we eat dinner because it doesn't give off heat to attract bugs. And then in the tent to have a nice light to read by before bed. My favorite use so far was when I wrapped it around my German Shepherd and tucked a small power bank into his collar and we went for a nice night walk along the beach while we were camping. It made the trail very easy to see, my dog easy to see and allowed him to chase a ball when I threw it a little in front of him, which made him so happy. My only regret is that I bought the five foot and not the larger one. I will be buying more, for myself and for gifts.

I got 2 of these at 10 feet long. I love them. They put off really clean white light and use very little power. I run them off of a jackery portable battery. The only thing that could be better about then is the magnets. Although a great feature, they could be stronger..

Works great for camping and lighting up your campsite.

I have an old truck with no dome light and I have this draped across the inside of the roof using the magnets. I turn it on by plugging it in a USB cigarette lighter adapter and it provides just the right amount of light for gathering up gear at the end of my day.
