The light on these is very bright for such a small product, so that is nice. The description is correct for the size; they are not big. However, unless you own the kind of stand that they show in the pic, it's really hard to find somewhere to plug it in and it be convenient to use. I think I'm going to have to run an extension cord and then plug the light into a plug adapter there, then it can be used by a headboard or computer desk. It would be much better if it had a longer cord or some other plug system.
