Definitely pre-owned, but worked perfectly on the iPad 2. I ordered 2 of these since they were such a GREAT price, but 1 of them had paint all over the case. I contacted Tanga and after having to provide pictures in reference to my discrepancy, they asked me to return it for a refund. So, I'm doing just that.

I saw the other comment about a buyer receiving a case with paint. Mine arrived quite dirty, but with no paint, scratches or any other major issues. A good washing and it came out looking almost new.
