Bought as a birthday gift for our 5-year old grandson.....he was over the moon at seeing it.

This was a very good purchase! My 3 yr. old grandson loves it! It has power,room, and very sturdy tires. The bucket is a little challenge with the 2 locks you have to secure the arms with to keep it up. But all in all, it's a good buy for toddlers/young children.

Ok so I’m probably the least mechanically able person on the planet, and I was able to figure out how to put this together for my 4 and 2 year olds. They absolutely LOVE it and take turns on it constantly. We had a BBQ this past weekend and all of the kids were on it, thinking it was the best toy on the planet. I’m sure a few of the parents ordered one after getting pestered.Battery life seems pretty good - about the same as our other ride on vehicles.My kids are small - 22 and 34 lbs respectively, but this fits both of them well.

If your kiddo loves trucks and construction as much as my nephew does, and knows all the names to all.the construction vehicles, than this is a MUST BUY for your child! It comes delivered in a pretty big sized box, all parts and components included. Building it took about 15 minutes and was fairly easy. We charged it up over night and surprised my nephew with it in the morning! The ride time is pretty long, they should be done riding before the battery even needs to be recharged. It drives in two speeds, and to be honest the slower speed is fast enough! The higher speed I would recommend for older toldlers (4 and up). Even my 6 year old daughter can ride on it and drive it well! The bucket digger tool is operated manually with the handles and actually is able to scoop up and lift the leaves, debris, and dirt! Very neat!

I bought this fir my grandson , he is 2-1-2 yrs old , ans he just loves it , my son in law has to take it with him w wet where he goes , He takes it to camp ans rides it all o we , I dis t think he would of caught on as fast as he did , but he can do everything with it. One of the best thing I got him

Any mother of toddlers will know they watch Blippi and have that excavator song stuck in their head like me. Well, that has set off a whole new trend in the house of wanting construction equipment like the show. Thus, we found this excavator and the boys have been ecstatic ever since. Really, they put on their dress up hard hat and vest and play on this for hours. It's really sturdy, all said, especially since they're around 45 lbs a piece and creeping on 4 ft. It was pretty easy to assemble too for how well put together it is. It all came in one box, was well packaged, and the instructions were very clear on how to put the parts together. No real wiring skill needed lol.I like the fact there is two different speeds too. It makes it more accurate when I tell the boys to "downshift" into a lower speed to go up the grassy hill in our side yard. They LOVE picking up the pine cones and trucking them back over to the driveway. And our mail delivery when we are playing outside lol. I do wish that there was some more things that lit up or made "working" sounds, but the music itself is nice too. The excavator bucket is not powered, but manual and I honestly liked that feature because it is less likely to bust in my opinion, for how rough my boys can be. The manual aspect of being able to lift it up and down not only means less electric parts able to break, but a better feel for the kids on how the working parts of the excavator operate.It does have a safety belt (sometimes my turdlers like to wear it haha) and has an amazing battery life. I've noticed not having to charge this one very often in comparison to our others. And the boys will play on and off of it for hours without me noticing a need to plug it back in to charge. Overall, a great ride-on that tickles their construction equipment obsession right now
