These are great! I had some similar ones and these are better. The lens slides in and out easily to change from wide to narrow focus. The power/mode button is recessed so the unit will stand on end to produce soft lighting off of a ceiling. The dim mode is low enough so it doesn't hurt your eyes or jolt you fully awake in a dark environment like a bedroom.
