It quit working a few months later. Unfortunately I have been going through chemo and other health issues. I was unable to go inside so was unable to return it. Now stuck with a spendy, broken watch.

These are disposal. It stopped working just after the year warranty was up. It's my send one so I should've known better.

This died and won’t work after 9 months!!

Died weeks after warranty expired. Screen flickers and it dies within hours. This is the 3rd fitbit I’ve bought that died at about 1 year.

I loved the watch. It died within a few months and was a hassle to get warranty replacement. Note I was very mindful and took good care of it. Now the warranty replacement has died just out of original one year period. Junk, what a waste of resources and $. I loved the functionality and size but if it doesn’t last it’s useless.

Great product until the battery died and no longer holds a charge after 1 year of use. Fitbit will not replace the battery or product after 1 year. They just give you a 35% off coupon to buy a new one.

Despite the fact that the Charge5 is supposed to be immersible, it is NOT. Not even to 1’ for approximately 2 minutes. When I reached out for help, I found that FitBit doesn’t honor warranties, even when their product fails. Buy a different fitness tracker, this one is super disappointing.

Malfunctioned. Screen died after a year along with not keeping a charge. Suspected updates led to the device malfunctioning. Warranty was not there when needed, only an offer to buy a new device at 35% off, which I wouldn't risk the money for it to happen again. I switched back to my 10yr old Pebble watch. I would highly recommend that brand even though discontinued.

Dead a few weeks after warranty expired. The Fitbit forums show it’s a trend for the Charge 5 and Fitbit is taking no actions to fix the issue.
