Remington Personal Care Refurbishment Process

All our Remington factory serviced shavers are guaranteed to always have the highest quality. Quality is our #1 concern, so we only use hospital-grade processes to ensure that all components are 100% disinfected and sanitized. We start the refurbishing process by first dismantling all components from the shaver unit. These components are soaked in a barbicide solution for at least 10 minutes to completely cleanse and disinfect them. After they have been removed from the barbicide solution and rinsed thoroughly with boiling hot water, the metal components are placed in a Pressure Steam Sterilizer at 250 degrees for 30 minutes and given a rubbing alcohol bath, and the plastic components, such as shaver heads and retainers, are further sterilized using a hand steamer at 200 degrees.

The shaver body is scrubbed thoroughly with a warm water solution and rubbing alcohol and dried with compressed air. The blades are inspected individually under a lighted magnifying glass to ensure that they are free from impurities- blades that do not pass this process are automatically rejected and scrapped. Once all components have been thoroughly disinfected and sanitized, the shaver is reassembled and charged for at least 15 minutes to ensure a strong battery life. The assembled unit is cleaned a third time with an alcohol solution, using a variety of techniques to ensure that even the smallest crevices are 100% clean. All final products are then passed through our Quality Assurance department, who diligently inspect each unit to make sure that they are free of any impurities. Once a unit passes QA, they are prepared for packaging.
