I’m in between 14-16 and got this in a 16. I’m 5’2, i wouldn’t consider it too mini, personally I will be tailoring it an inch or so shorter. Looks amazing with the matching top. The bottom are really nice in person. Overall would recommend! If you’re an hourglass with a bigger behind, you could possibly size up if u don’t want the bottoms to pull apart to much.

The skirt is everything. I tried it on and it was a perfect fit. It's very flattering. Also, the button detail is exceptional. I also purchased the matching corset, and my husband was like that looks so good and the quality is simply amazing!

I'm 5'5.5", ~190lbs and I'm normally a size 12 in bottoms. I got this in a 14 to be safe (and that's all that was left lol) and it fits great, a little loose at the waist but not dramatically so, plus it comes with the really nice belt to adjust. The quality on this skirt is phenomenal, nice weighted fabric that helps hide imperfections, hoping to get it in black which I can easily see being worn through the winter with tights
