These were true to size in the show portion but too stretchy for my liking. The are less riding boots and more pull on stretch boots. Because they are so tight to the calf, they might look good with a dress or skirt, but didn't look good with jeans which is what I wanted to wear them with. Even with skinny jeans, the boots were tighter on the calf than I wanted.
