This expertly crafted Karimba (also known as a Kalimba, Mbira or Thumb Piano) is hand made from half a coconut shell and wood, and is hand carved into the shape of a sea turtle. Metal keys are suspended above the acoustic chamber, and when plucked with the fingers or thumbs, it makes a delightfully rich sound! It measures approximately 9 inches long, 7 1/2 inches wide and 2 inches high. This gorgeous instrument is great for use as a decoration, and a great educational gift for children.
