Consumer Reports gave this product a good rating is why I chose it. It is easy to use with a little pre-planning (freezing the removable container that holds the ice cream mixture). After that, it's all about the recipe that you use as to how delicious the ice cream is.

This is our first ice cream maker. We’re busy trying various recipes and are enjoying the results. Very easy to set up & operate (just an On/Off switch). Makes appx 48oz which we divide up into 8 6oz serving cups. Easy to clean, just basically rinse everything off.

Great! I make a frozen dessert at least 3 times a week. I get the ice cream bowl back in the freezer and 24 hours later it is frozen and ready.
