I have owned this cushion for 2 1/2 years now, so this review comes from experience. I am buying a second one to keep in the car for those meetings on hard chairs that remain difficult for me. I've had PT and lost weight since my original purchase, but I've also learned that if I keep putting pressure on the bursars, it only gets worse. THIS cushion has been a life-saver for me! I can work anywhere, no matter what the seating arrangement is, as long as I use this. It's not a replacement for what PT or other interventions may yield, but, at least for me, it really helps me to be able to work at a computer or desk for hours. I don't mind feeling "old" (I'm a young looking 60) when I carry this to a meeting if it means I can be my effective, normal self.

I had a difficult time choosing a comfort seat for my car which I thought would be comfortable but not too soft. Living in a rural area, we do not have the shopping that the cities offer so I have to do a lot of shopping on line. Occasionally, on long trips, I would end up with a tired back and legs from sitting on a pillow. This is perfect. It is firm but not hard. It offers good support. I could never go back to a couch pillow again. The only 'con' I would have about it is that I cannot attach it to the seat and it slides when getting in and out of my vehicle. Then you have to arch up to get it settled under you. This works for me but I know that some people would have a difficult time trying to get in on top of it. I may have to rig up some way to keep it in place. Otherwise, I like it. I need to mention that It has a nice cover also. I hope this cushion will maintain its firmness and will last me a long time. I don't mind driving now.

Amazing product!!! And IT REALLY WORKS in reducing road vibration and pain caused by sitting in a moving vehicle. I was very skeptical that a Seat Cushion could really provide as much pain relief as I read in some of the reviews I read on this product. And the price was a bit too much for me. But there were so many amazing reviews and I had so much discomfort and back pain after a major back surgery that I figured what the heck let's give this a try. To my amazement it works and it works as good as you read in other reviews!!! The material is not hard or soft foam, and it is not a gel either. It has the exact right consistency. and with the opening gap in the back which causes the Coccyx (Tail Bone) to hang suspended in the air. The entire seat cushion as well as the meaty parts of your thighs and buttocks end up absorbing much of the fine vibration of the road. If sitting in a moving vehicles causes you pain and discomfort due to road vibration, I suggest you buy this item now...

I'm bedfast and prone to pressure sores on the coccyx (tail bone). This marvelous little pillow works perfectly to suspend me over the cut-out in back. In addition, it supports my lower back just perfectly. I have rods in my back and the lower back must be aligned exactly right or I experience considerable pain. This remarkable, inexpensive little cushion does that trick just fine, as well! When I first received the cushion, I thought "On no! It's just lightweight hard plastic foam!" But 5 minutes after sitting on it I noticed it had molded itself perfectly to me and all I was aware of was the absence discomfort. Then, the next thing I knew, I had fallen asleep and slept soundly for the entire night. Next I'm going to try it with my wheelchair, though I'll have to put a 9" wide strip of something in front as my wheelchair seat is 18" x 22" long. We'll see. I'll let you know.

For reasons unknown to me, I experienced sudden - and quite severe- lower back pain. At some point, it felt like it was in my tailbone. Some days it radiated into my hips a bit. Took OTC pain meds, put on ice packs, etc. Nothing helped. I couldn't sit! A friend suggested I get a cushion like this to "prevent" lower back/tailbone pain. But I bought this one - after reading a TON of different product reviews- to see if SOMEHOW it would help me get OUT of the pain (not just prevent future pain). Well, with prayers to God and with this cushion, the pain is gone! I did also get a cushioned foot rest and a lower back lumber cushion. (All for my computer chair - I work at the computer 8-10 hours a day). The pain ebbed away with 2-3 days of use. I continue to use this cushion and will never take it off my chair til I need to replace it. It seems to be high quality. Has a very comfortable feel, good material. So, is it a coincidence? I'm not sure, but I'm very happy with this cushion and strongly recommend it if you have pain in your tailbone when sitting.

I have an old computer chair that I sit in a lot more in my older age and have been experiencing some pinched nerve like issues involving my tailbone region and it seems to effect my right leg specifically to the point where it can be super painful to try to walk around when I get out of bed. I've only had this seat cushion for a week now but it seems to help a lot. I haven't tried taking the cover off to clean or anything. Looks like it would be fine maybe? I would worry about shrinkage or even getting the cover back on the cushion but that's just me and my first impression of trying to clean the cover.

When I first received it, I thought that it would be too hard to be helpful but it really helps relieve pressure on my hips and helps me to sit up for longer periods of time. I have lupus so joint inflammation is a constant battle and I already take more meds than is safe so I've taken to finding as many external tools as is helpful. Up until now, there was nothing that helped with my hip pain now instead of staying in bed all day, I can make it to the living room and sit up for awhile. I especially like how affordable it is in comparison to other foam seats. I haven't had it long but it seems durable and well made. I bought this in February 2015 and it's July 2016 and it's still very supportive and comfortable. The little logo on the front cover wore mostly off but the rest of it is in awesome condition. It has definitely helped me sit up for longer periods of time than I would be able to otherwise. I would highly recommend this.

Actually I thought I left a review but either way I'm pleased with the item. I use it in my car and it really helps my posture, back pain I may have, and helps to see over the steering wheel without any problems like a regular cushion. A friend let me use theirs so I'm familiar with the feel of the cushion, and again I'm happy! Glad to know I can wash the cover too! Thank you!

Seriously. My daughter and I took off on a road trip at the end of May, weaving our way through Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Idaho and Oregon. She had asked for a pillow for her derriere. She meant a bed pillow. As I am old and she is expecting, I bought us both one. The road trip ended a couple weeks ago and we were beyond grateful for these pillows. She just told me she now goes nowhere without it!

I ordered this cushion for an older gentleman who has been suffering with severe weight loss and therefore he doesn't have much padding on his rear, hips, legs, etc. He has been complaining the most about his tailbone and his hips. He has been so uncomfortable sitting in his recliner even when he was using pillows. I read the reviews for this cushion and hoped for the best. He loves it! Says it is very comfortable and helps cushion everything. So thank you so much Aylio! I honestly had given up on him ever being comfortable again.
