Nice torch it would have been better if marketing match the box.

I have decided to keep this item,my son came over and checked it and said that it needs the butane which did not come with this item,but can be purchased separately. sorry for any inconvenience.

Great for when you need a torch for just a light toasting on the meringue when you need it

Having just begun really getting into cooking, I've been trying to make more adventurous desserts and debated getting a culinary torch for a while. Was intimidated because, well it's a new tool with fire. Followed the directions exactly and it's a phenomenal tool. Used on creme brulee and it's a small torch, but man is it powerful! Definitely a must have :)

It is easy to use, however, there should be more detailed instructions for people like me who has never used one. LOL I didn't know this has to be charged with the butane, instead, I thought the butane can was attached always, and didn't understand why it was coming of and I was not understanding the instructions very well.

Solid construction! Much heartier than my similar model from a different company that shattered from a 5-foot drop onto soft vinyl flooring. Why I bought this model. Pleasantly surprised by how great the flame is. I haven’t used this as a Brulee torch yet but since it’s so consistent and strong I would expect it to have any issues. I use this as a utility torch. Lighting grills and such.
