I do believe this works the way it is intended. However, there is no way that this is 72”. I think it is closer to 48”x60”

The only thing I didn’t like was the ties to keep the blanket I. The cover, they will easily break. I think for the price it would be better secured inside the cover.

It's made for adults it's heavy but makes u very snug and comfortable so much so that I sometimes don't want to have to get out of bed in the mornings. I like this blanket alot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Tranquility Temperature Balancing and Anti-Microbial Weighted Blanket. the weight of 12lbs feels just perfect It is just the right size to cuddle up with and I love the gray color, But I personally have some texture issue and I dont like to touch this blanket so I try to touch it as little as possible. I use a sheet under it and fold the sheet over the top edge so I am not always grabbing the blanket with my bare hands. I have notice that I sleep so much better with the blanket on I don't toss and turn so much and sleep longer. Also I wake up feeling more refreshed and ready for the day, I love that it keeps me warm without feeling hot. I just love it. I may just have to find are make a cover for it so the texture wont be an issue any longer

I have used this three times now and every time resulted in me falling into a deep sleep. I was not sure how I would feel about a weighted blanket because I was worried it would feel like I was being smashed but it's not like that at all. It's a perfect weight to just feel comforted and secure, like a good hug. It's a great size for one person and it's very soft. It had a slight scent at first but not overpowering and it went away quickly. The one and only thing I have to be mindful of is that I cannot wash or dry it. I have pets so I have to be sure to keep pets, drinks, and food away. I'd have to spot clean it if there was a mess. If you have pets or small children maybe just use this when you're totally on your own since you cannot throw it in the washing machine. Overall it's really comforting and lovely! It feels like self care.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time trying a weighted blanket and I really liked this one. It's a nice blue color. I like how the blanket feels like I'm in a warm and cozy hug. Especially with this cold weather it's my new favorite.

My son loves this blanket. He says it helps him fall deeply asleep. Too heavy for me though.
