Bought 3 of these, one for me and one as Christmas gifts for each of my sons. Charged mine and put in my car, uncertain if I would ever use it. Then just a few days later, my son and wife were visiting and their car wouldn't start. Got the jump starter out, plugged in the clamps to the unit, hooked up to the dead battery, and car started right up.
