These are lovely candles! They are real wax and I've had them on all night after opening. They're in my bedroom and they help actually help as a nightlight in our room plus a great bit of decor. Buy a bunch of AAA batteries thought because each candle requires 3 batteries. The remote is great and I set the timer so I don't waste the batteries.

using outdoors not advised. rain sat in top and batteries went out in a week..... also timers were never accurate. Would not advise using outside.
