It’s a bit ironic that the Tanga community used the word “salt” to mean a hint, an aid to solving a puzzle. In computer security, salt is text that is added to passwords to make it more difficult to decrypt them. In urbandictionary.com, it can also mean something that causes an unfortunate or unfavorable situation. And, medically, of course, it is something that can raise your blood pressure, while Tanga salt can lower it. The late Andy Rooney might ask “why is that?”
