For more years than I care to remember children (and adults) have stared at me and asked “are you Santa Claus.” Obviously as the season gets closer the Santa sightings become more frequent. I’m pretty much used to the idea that I can’t go to any store, restaurant, or event without being accosted. (quick side note-The same parents who push their children on me in December whining “Say Hi to Santa,” are the same ones who in January yell at the kids “Get away from that filthy degenerate biker!”) OK back to today’s story……. I was in the grocery store picking up some last minute Thanksgiving dinner items, when this adorable little three year old girl was pointing at me saying, “Mommy, Mommy, Mommy, Mommy, Mommy,” and dragging her embarrassed Mother over to me.
She walked right up to me and I waited for the inevitable query, when she said, “Are you Dumbledore?” LOL…. I almost fell over. I said to Mom, “I thought she was going to say Santa.” Mom said, “So did I.”

I was really laughing when I told her that was really the first time I had ever heard that one. I’ve been called Jerry Garcia, and asked if I was a member of ZZ Top. She said the little girl loved Harry Potter (obviously). As we passed each other several times up and down the aisles, the little girl kept waving and saying “Hi Dumbledore.”

That’s about it for my softer more gentle side Tanganites. Now screw with me and you get it back double!!!!
