Temp Solution for showing visited Random Questions in Safari

Temp Solution for showing visited Random Questions in Safari

Here’s a temporary solution for showing unvisited (new) Random Questions in a different color, in the Safari Browser. I tested it in the latest version, 5.1.5. If you’re knowledgeable about other browsers, maybe you can use this method (overriding the default style sheet) to devise a similar solution for them:

1) Download and install the Safari extension “User CSS” from http://code.grid.in.th/ (You install it by just clicking on the file that is downloaded. Uninstall using the Safari preferences tab “Extensions”.)

2) A button with an “A” in it will appear in your Toolbar at the top of the page. Click it to open the extension setup.

3) Click “Enabled”,
enter Name “Tanga Questions Visited”,
URLs: Includes: http://www.tanga.com/questions
and in the Styles box: “body a:visited { color: blue ! important;}”

Don’t include the Quotes in the text you enter. Each entry is all on one line. The “Name” can be anything. The color can be any valid HTML color name, or a Hex color – I just picked Blue for visibility.

4) Click “Save”. Yay, now all your answered questions (or at least the ones you’ve looked at) are blue! Might need to restart Safari, but for me it worked right away.

Hope somebody lets us know if the Tanga mods get it changed so we won’t need such extensions.
