Die Macher was my very first Tanga Purchase just over a year ago.

Our Game Playing group unwrapped it and played if for the first time today. We started with 5 people. The first person had to leave after about an hour or so and we had only just finished setting up. It is a seven round game, and the second person had to leave four hours into it, and we had just finished the second round. After 8-1/2 hours we had just finished the fifth round, and had to call it a done game due to lateness (later found out the “short” version is five rounds).

It was a really neat, intricate, game – with more strategy than I’ll ever be able to keep track of – but also a significant luck factor to keep the strategically impaired (me) in the game. And you’re engaged almost the whole time.

The next time will run much more smoothly, as we had no one familiar with the game, and we had to read – and re-read the rules a LOT to make sure we were doing each step correctly.

So, if you get a chance, and have four friends who have a LOT of time to spend on one game, I recommend you get this one.
