Inspired by the “pet peeves” thread, I’d like to start one that balances it out a bit. :-)

Please feel free to list things that calm you down, make you happy, inspire you, restore your faith in humanity, etc.

I’ll start:

I love when someone with a full cart of groceries sees me approaching the line with my one item— and waves me ahead of her.
Also, when it’s been grey and raining out, but the sky begins to clear just after I’ve stepped outside.
And I love that when I wake up in the morning, my two dogs somehow know, and they bound over with tails wagging, greeting me as if to say, “We MISSED you while you were sleeping!” :-)
