In January dharmaRN started a Discussion here on the SOPA and PIPA legislation, there were numerous comments, and I added a few reference sites for info about these bills. It seemed helpful at the time and lots of Tanganites got involved.

Since then I have seen a couple of similar bills being introduced, and added comments to dharmaRN’s thread about them. But they received little or no additional comments, and so I’m starting to wonder what the level of interest is here for this type of info.

And if there is interest, would you prefer that they all be kept in a single Discussion thread, or that they each be given their own topic? (My thought is that they might be best kept in a single thread to control clutter, as they are not directly a “Tanga” thing, but perhaps under a different Title than the very specific “Wikipedia 24 Hour Blackout to Protest SOPA and PIPA” one. But I think either way could work.)

So what do you think? dharmaRN and I would both like to keep as many people informed and commenting to our legislators as possible on these issues (if I can speak for dharmaRN), but don’t want to annoy the Tanga world if you don’t want it here.
