Ho Ho Ho!

We have TONS of Holiday puzzles (yipes – with even more coming in, maybe). I’m not sure we’ll have room for them all. But hey, it’s not a bad situation to be in, so thanks to all the various puzzlemakers for delivering.

The holiday puzzles could start as early as THIS SATURDAY! But, it’s more likely that they’ll start on Monday. Which means from December 17th through December 25th – NINE DAYS – almost every single one of our Featured puzzles will be holiday themed. (that could be as many as 32 puzzles if we get a few more WITW).

Not only that, but ALL of the 7AM Unfeatured puzzles on December 22nd will be holiday themed.

And then after Christmas, we’ll be doing our traditional Triptych A Day until the end of the year. Well, okay, it’s now a Quartet A Day :)

I started this in 2010 as kind of a thank you to both the Mods and the solvers. For their service, I gave all the Mods first crack at a slot – and they all took one. I then filled the open slots by asking a few of our regular puzzlemaker who hadn’t done one yet.

This year, in addition to Murdoctor, Scoutmom, Jebediehard, and Sonjahi, we’ll have Quartets from TangaAl and Nocca.

So from the 26th through the 31st there will be FOUR new puzzles every night: A Cryptopix, a One Word Wonder, a new Hypercross, and a Words in the Weeds – and all four puzzles will be from the same author.

And in case that’s not enough for you, I’ve JAMMED, like, a GAZILLION Unfeatured puzzles into our Saturday, December 29th at 7AM slot. Seriously. At this point, it could get up to as many as 15 puzzles.
