Okay so this is exactly what we needed for my son. He gets silly when we can hear what the other kids mumble on the oculus. He is 12 almost 13 so the kids are expiramenting with their language abilities and I personally don't want to hear it. These headphones wrap around the ear and thread through the oculus. So far so good

This purchase was a huge upgrade from my standard wired earphones with a very long slack. I would have to wrap it underneath my shirt and around my neck just to get as close to me as possible. Even after I find a sweet spot, playing any high intensity movement game, it would slide of its position creating interruptions.Wearing these earphones not only solves the problem of that slack, it also immerses you into game. In my case, I play a lot of Beat Saber and hearing the music COMFORTABLY and secured with the ear loop makes it that more enjoyable.

Yes it's better than using just the quest 2 speakers. Its clear but sounds like regular cheap headphones. The mic is ok. You still need to speak up. I think I can have better luck positioning it closer to my mouth. I would say it's ok for the price but don't expect it to be a huge boost.
