Thought this was a good gift! Cool design for an RC
Let the fun begin! My son hasn't stopped playing with this rc car. The body is light weight making it perfect for a young driver bumping into furniture/walls! Also. the remote is easy to maneuver. My favorite part as a parent is that the car is easy to charge!
My kids thought this was fun! My 8 year old set it up and my 6 year old could figure it out easily. They made a ramp and it flipped over and seemed to do tricks. The plastic is very light and seemed kind of cheap but perhaps it was to make it move faster.
The Hyper Toy Company's 1:14 scale West Coast Choppers (WCC) Trophy Truck, with a Jesse James design, is pretty eye-catching aesthetics. For fans of WCC or Jesse James, the detailed look alone makes it an appealing RC vehicle. Out of the box, it lives up to its claims of being super fast and genuinely fun to operate. The controls are intuitive, making it easy to handle, and it performs surprisingly well across various terrains, from indoor carpet and hardwood to outdoor grass and pavement. However, the excitement is unfortunately short-lived due to significant battery limitations. A full charge takes a lengthy 90 minutes, but that only translates to about 15 minutes of runtime. This quick drain is a major drawback and can lead to frustration, especially when you're just getting into the groove. Adding to the battery woes, the included charging cable is quite short at only 16 inches, which can be inconvenient, and its rather fragile connector doesn't inspire confidence in its long-term durability. Ultimately, this WCC Trophy Truck is a blast to drive and looks fantastic. If you're a die-hard fan and prioritize speed and design for short bursts of fun, it might still appeal. But be prepared for frequent and long charging breaks that really interrupt the playtime. The trucks dimensions are approximately 13 inches long x 7 inches wide x 5.5 inches tall.
This is a fun remote controlled monster truck. The body of the vehicle is made of thin plastic and feels a little flimsy. The rest of the car is well constructed and even after multiple times crashing and falling, it remained intact. It was simple enough to maneuver but it did take my kid a little time to learn to use both the trigger to drive and the wheel to turn left or right. It was able to go over bumpy terrain with ease and overall it’s a fun toy.
This car is good and bad. The car runs well and is pretty quick. The downfall is the plastic is very thin and cheap feeling. Also, the plug to charge is a little flimsy; I'm afraid to pull it and break it.
