Unfortunately I had to return it because this product was brought twice for the same birthday girl. However I think it's a great ideal and a wonderful product to own.

I think it's great for the price. It did take awhile to find the moon but once we got it it was easy to focus on. It would be difficult for younger children to do by themselves. Would still recommend.

We bought this as a Christmas gift for a 10 year old star gazer! It works very well and she truly enjoys it. Worth every penny

Got scared to open this because of all the negative reviews… bought for myself as a beginner telescope (23y.o). Super easy to assemble and i first tried it outside during the day. This helped me get a hang of the focusing and got some cool views of far away trees and some clouds. It’s now nighttime and i just got back in from looking at the moon and it was amazing!! i could see all the craters. Not sure why many people are having such difficulty getting it to focus.. maybe since i had my practice during the day, it made it easier. i would definitely recommend as a beginner telescope!! This was a gift from Santa and my kids were excited to see it set up next to the tree. They used it that night and were able to see some stars up close.

Purchased for my 5yr old grandson! He was able to use it to see the stars immediately. I like the quality and the the easiness of the retractable tripod stand... Grandson Loves it!
