Not durable

After the first wash this was lumpy and did not survive without rips. Bad quality

Fits great in crate but

I bought this bed for my dog's crate. It fits great. Crate is about 33 X 21".I chose this bed because others said it was washable. I thought the price was reasonable, too.REVIEW UPDATE: (See photo #2)Ok, we had this bed about 1 week and my dog decided to pull it out of her crate and tear the foamout of the bottom. The material on the bottom is thin and easily torn by a motivated dog. :(I'm not sure if my dog was trying to tell me she DID like the new bed because it makes a great stuffed toy to tear apart or she did NOT like the bed and decided to shred it. Either way, she got a time out. ♥Now that I see how easily it was torn on the bottom, I wonder if it would have held up in washer. Perhaps, use delicate cycle only.

Who doesn't wash a dog bed?

I bought another dog bed but returned it because its tag stated "do not wash, do not dry, do not dry clean." This product gave specific instructions online on how to wash it in cold water and dry it in the dryer so I ordered it. When I received this one it was identical to the first and had the same "do not wash and dry" tag on it. Who doesn't wash a dog bed. Since the online instructions say to wash it I'm going with that. We'll see what happens.

These are just okay. Makes little fur balls my dog eats.

These are just okay. Size fits the adjacent pen size perfectly. The craftsmanship is good. Padding, thickness, softness are all good. The reason for just 3 stars is that the furriness comes off in little fur balls that my dog will sometimes eat. He's not eating or digging or biting or doing anything to the mat except laying on it but the mat itself will generate little fur balls that my dog will lick up, sometimes. So I recommend brushing or really shaking out the mat before use. You could also wash it in a horizontal axis washing machine with no post....vertical axis may come with no post, but if you wash in one with a center post it could seriously ruin the mat, and then dry in a big commercial dryer with some tennis balls to keep it from sticking to the side.

It’s fine

Considering you can’t wash, it’s too expensive . The shape is great for your crate though

After multiple washes, this bed is not holding up

This is an update to my previous review because now I have laundered 2 of them the same way but separately for many months. I am not happy with this product compared to Midwest animal beds. I have owned both now to see them through multiple laundering and Amazon's underside material starts to disintegrate and not hold up. It is true that all these style beds will loose their fabric in the middle over time from washing and lots of dog use but Amazaon's product I have found to be flawed.I buy these beds because they launder well (enough) and in hot water. I need to wash my dogs beds frequently because of family allergies and that we don't like a stinky dog. My dogs always want to eat their treats in their bed which adds to the need to launder more as well as their stink that will build up on there. I buy these regularly as needed, which is to say that one will likely last a good couple of years. Unfortunately they will loose their fluff in the middle part and eventually have barely anything of comfort for the dog to lay on. We use them in our dogs kennels, in the car or just on the floor somewhere. It's adorable how much our dogs love these beds and get excited about a new one.
