Very nice, soft and well padded crate bed. all my dogs love it but I have one chewer and it didn't take long for her to take the bottom apart and there was foam all over the place. If your dogs don't like to chew their beds it would be great, The fleece side is cuddly and it takes to washing very well, and fits the large amazon basics crate perfectly. It seems to be well constructed maybe just needs a stronger material on the bottom for those chewers.

This is based on what the dog told me.... "Too flat and smells funny." After opening it up and placing the blanket that she had been sleeping on for the last month in the laundry, she sniffed it... Barked at it..... Looked at me funny... Then proceeded to treat the bed like there was a bone inside that needed immediate rescue.I thought it was a good deal. Next time I'm giving the dog the credit card.

I'm not sure how many stars to give this. I read the reviews before ordering, so I knew what to expect. It is very thin and probably wouldn't be very comfortable in either a wire or a plastic crate. I thought my Weimaraner might use it as a bed on the floor, which she did very briefly. Then she decided it was her new favorite toy. She lies down on the floor and "nurses" the sides. Fine with me--it makes her happy. I've had it for about 2 months and it hasn't shed, balled, or torn. It has lasted longer than most real dog beds I've had.

This bed fit perfectly in the AmazonBasics medium kennel and my dog enjoys having some bedding in her crate, and this was a reasonable price compared to what you would pay in a pet store. Unfortunately, even though my dog loves laying on something soft, she also wants all things with stuffing or seams to die a violent death, so this didn't last long. The bottom of the bed is a cheap material and the seams were not very strong. If my dog didn't insist on eating her beds, we would have been very happy with this one regardless, and I would recommend it.

Yes, it could use more padding. And when looked at the picture it looks like it has alot more padding then it truly does. But i bought it because it was cheap and im trying to train my dog to not chew up her bed and to stay off my bed. Im folding an old comforter to make a bit more cushion and then we should be set. She already like it with the comforter she barked at me when i tried to take it downstairs from being upstairs. She said she was comfortable.

I ordered this for my dog after she ripped up a much more expensive one. (She’s still young and was at a kennel. She has some separation anxiety and will chew when upset) So far so good. For the price, you can’t beat it. It’s not super thick, but it’s enough for my dog. I just throw her favorite blanket on top for her comfort. I would recommend it for sure

Our puppy had an accident in the crate when we first bought this and there was no way to wash it. Good thing it was nice weather out so I just scrubbed it and sprayed it down with the hose. I just guess I thought it would be washable. But that hasn't been a problem since and it seems durable as our puppy likes to chew and dig and it survives the test. I would recommend it.

This works well with kennel. Not very thick though.

I always shake my head when people low score an item because it doesn't do what they WISH it did instead of the product description. No, it isn't water proof, yes it is thin, no it won't keep an active chewer/destroyer from demolishing it. If you have a dog that chews, look for something like sheepskin or primopads.I actually have a primopad in the crate, so the dog has cushion. This provides a very nice soft padding, he loves putting his head on the sides, it stays in place, and it was no problem to wash and dry. I'll be ordering more.

I had high hopes for this product. Unfortunately, it lasted a day and a half in good condition. My dog ripped a hole right in the corner and continues to make it bigger every now and then. A lot of the stuffing is gone so it's not as comfy as it used to be for her.Product is good though. I don't blame the product for her destroying it as she has destroyed every blanket and towel she's been given before. Thought it we gave her a real bed she may treat it better. Oh well! It still sits in the crate with her (which fits perfectly) so she at least has something to lay on.
