I’m currently crate training my 6 month old Doberman pincher and this is the dog bed I chose for her crate. Within 20 minutes she knew the command “bed” I don’t even have to tell her know, she goes on her own just to lay down.

Several dogs have used this bed off and on. It's not thick, but nice for in a crate. You have to hand wash because the bottom isn't flexible. In our house we move it from room to room and even the garage wherever a doggie needs to be comfortable.The faux sherpa is soft, but there isn't much padding.

This Amazon Basics XL (40”) rectangular pet bed was a great buy. We have it in our black lab's dog crate wrapped in a blanket and it lines the crate nicely. The side bolsters help to keep its shape and allows for extra padding for the pets to cuddle against, as well as a nice place to rest their heads. The bottom is a skid resistant black vinyl which keeps it in place. This was a very nice buy for the money and our second purchase of this bed (the first one was brown in color but otherwise the same). The other lasted several years until Shelby decided she needed to see what was inside; she then chewed and pulled out the stuffing...Now that she has seen what's inside I’m sure she will leave this one alone.

We originally bought the large size for a dog we were fostering. We used it to line his crate. 100 lbs of neurosis. He scratched at it, soiled it and loved it. I washed it and washed it and washed it. It held up beautifully. So much so, that when we got a shepherd puppy, we bought the medium size for her puppy crate. She loves it. The crate is her space and she is very comfortable in it. Obviously, because she is a puppy I have had to wash it , again held up beautifully and shows no sign of wear. Others have said that they wished it were thicker, i think if it were thicker it would not wear or launder nearly as well. I would buy this bed again and again.

I took a guess at the size of my boy’s crate and the mat fits perfectly! He also promptly threw up his dinner the first night we had the mat, and I put it in the washing machine hoping the mat wouldn’t fall apart, and it was perfectly fine! This is the first mat I’ve had that hasn’t fallen apart in the washing machine or dryer and I am very pleased. The onlything is that I wish the mat was softer. Overall, very pleased.

We got this to line her crate, but she flipped on it as soon as it hit the floor :) Seems durable and has more cushion than I expected.

Some poor baby got a comfy bed because some body cared to DONATE .

Initially our 80lb dog didn't know what to make out of it. She would walk on it gently and cautiously. I think that's because it has more cushion than it appears and she would sink in when she walked. Once she got used to that, she loves it. She goes in the kennel even when she doesn't have to just to sleep on it. Also, fits perfectly in our kennel.

I BOUGHT ONE TO START AND ENDED UP GOING BACK AND ORDERING MORE. ALL OF MY DOGS ARE KENNEL TRAINED, AND LOVE THEIR KENNELS. IF EVEN JUST FOR A NAP, ITS THEIR BEDROOM. THEY LIKE THESE, WHEN I FRIST GOT IT I GOT 1 FOR MY SENIOR DOG AND THE NEXT THING THERE ARE ALL TAKING TURNS ON HIS BED SO I WENT AHEAD AND BOUGHT 3 MORE. AND THEY ALL LOVE THEM :)

The media could not be loaded.  Love it. Well, our dog does. We haven't washed it, yet, but it's very flexible (not too crazy stuffed), so it shouldn't be a problem to keep it clean. We will update our review, if anything doesn't work out, quality wise, but I doubt we will have any issues. Be warned, if you dog paws/claws at it when it's brand new (e.g. before a first washing), some "fleece fluff" may come off. Discard the fluffs, tell your dog "no" on the scratching, and possibly wash it before leaving your dog alone in a crate with it, in case they tear in to it while being stressed. It could be a choking hazard for a smaller dog like our 7.5 lb Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier. After an initial washing, you should have no other fluff issues.
