I had a homemade weighted blanket before purchasing this, but it was impossible to clean. This blanket has a VERY soft outer cover that can be removed and washed. The size is perfect for one adult person.

If you're looking for an affordable but high quality option, look no further. The inner part is quilted so the beads stay evenly distributed. It's thick enough to keep you warm but not so much that you'll sweat or feel overheated. It helps me feel snug and secure at night and I sleep much heavier now.

This is a really lovely weighted blanket, I’m very pleased with the quality. It’s extremely soft, the weight is very evenly distributed (I bought 15lb for my mother in law) and it has a removable washable cover. Really couldn’t ask for more for the price. My mother in law has sleepless nights and says this has really helped her.

I bought this for my husband who has been wanting a weighted blanket for quite a long time. He LOVES it! I bought the 15lb one, since that was the only one available at the time, and it seems to work perfectly for him. He is about 6' and 175-180lbs. He uses it on our finished basement where it is cooler and it keeps him nice and toasty. I cannot speak to how it would be to sleep with.
